How Time Flies
A surprise party was thrown at d’SUARANG on Saturday 25, 2012 to celebrate two birthday occasions at one go. One for Puteri Nur Najwa and the other for Puteri Ain Anisa.

Born on 28 February 1995, Puteri Nur Najwa (fondly called Awa within family circles) is sweet seventeen this year. Puteri Ain Anisa ( Adik to us at home) is now 14 years of age, born on 26 February 1998.
While reciting the doa selamat (prayer for well-being and safety) in respect of the 2 Puteri, I could well remember 1995 . . . the year Awa was brought to our home by both her parents Megat Husni and Fadelah (my wife’s sister) to be taken care of by my wife Alimah.
That was immediately after Fadelah’s confinement. Fadelah was then working at one premier newspaper establishment.
That was immediately after Fadelah’s confinement. Fadelah was then working at one premier newspaper establishment.
Then came 1998. After Fadelah’s confinement again, Adik was also brought in the same manner to my wife to be looked after while her parents were at work. Everything went smoothly and everyone was happy.
Now . . . without much ado . . . and without any reasonable amount of hesitation . . . time goes ticking by. Awa has in a wink turned 17. Adik is on to 14.

The babies, toddlers of yesterday . . . then the little girls . . . who were sent to us and whom we had taken care of with much care and love over the years . . . have now grown into teenagers and soon will be young adolescents . . . and then on to be matured adults.
Poetry dedicated to 2P written in the year 2005.
Notice how 'young' the 2Ps were then.
How time flies . . . and well . . . that proved how powerful The Almighty is. Things (people included) grow obsolete in so short a time. But . . . before becoming obsolete . . . let’s live wisely and let’s be useful to the world!
Both Awa and Adik will have to move on in life. Greater heights will have to be scaled. Performances of brilliance will have to be registered. Self reliability and integrity will have to be proven. Only then your true worth to the family and society will come to the fore.
Congrats for whatever both of you have achieved to date.
Many congratulatory expressions will come your way when you correctly place trust in your ability . . . and endeavour to achieve the best . . . and the best from both of you is yet to come!
