Jalinan Persahabatan Antara Insan
Rakan banyak perkara rakan. Ada rakan sepermainan, rakan sebilik, rakan serumah, rakan sedarjah, rakan sesekolah, rakan sekuliah, rakan sekerja, rakan sejemaah, rakan sekariah, rakan sekomuniti, rakan senegeri dan berbagai-bagai lagi.

Menunggu waktu majlis bermula . . .
"Dia itu 'rakan semeja' saya."
Kata-kata begini jarang-jarang kedengaran disebut orang.

Datin Biby Nazli Hassim
. . . datang juga awak ya . . .
Bila kawan lama berjumpa . . .
Penulis bukanlah hendak memberikan butiran hubungan penulis dengan tuan empunya majlis . .

One good turn deserves another . . .

Dear readers . . . the wedding invite . . . and in particular that 'knowing you knowing me' messing around the dining table act by Dato Ramli and Datin Biby Nazli that Sunday evening was surely an occasion to be remembered.
On to new friends now . . .
The new friends I met and made at table 30 were simply fantastic. A friendly, humble but intelligent group of people.

All of them were special in their very own way.
They were comparatively younger than yours sincerely and spouse . . . but knew the art of breaking the ice when communicating with total strangers.
Self-introduction by each and every one of them to each and every member seated around table 30 was sincerely and smoothly done.
This made a lot of headway to gel and blend a group of strangers (at one moment) into a group of new friends (quite immediately by the next moment).
Another plus factor was the fact that everyone at table 30 showed a keenness in responding to questions or requests that popped up during 'conversation' time.

My impression of these guys were very quickly summed up. Their attitude was positive. They were indeed an awesome lot. Their make-shift profile will briefly read:
Yeoh Soo Ann . . . a GCEO of Encorp Berhad. He deals with matters regarding property. His office is at Pusat Perdagangan Kota Damansara. He hails from Seremban. Very cultured.
His wife Chua Ai Lan is a qualified London trained dentist. She however has ceased practice in order to allow her more time to bring up their three daughters. A responsible wife and mother . . . as mentioned by Yeoh.
Their eldest daughter has just begun her study in veterinary medicine/science in London.
Elias Yusoff is CEO of Saga Telecom Sdn Bhd. His company . . . located in Laman Seri Business Park Section 13, Shah Alam . . . is Ericsson Authorised Systems Distributor. Elias seems slightly reserved . . . but never aloof.
He was accompanied by his wife, Mazlina Zalwani bt Mohd Noor, that evening. Mazlina was benevolent with her smile. The couple resides in Shah Alam.
Abdul Halim Ismail is CEO of TH Hotel & Residence Sdn Bhd. His office is at Level 17, Tabung Haji Building, Jalan Tun Razak, KL. Halim looks down-to-earth.
Hazimi Kassim is Group Chief Internal Auditor of Group Internal Audit, Telekom Malaysia. His office is located at Level 9, South Wing Menara TM, Jalan Pantai Baharu, KL. His boyish looks could be his strength when dealing with people around him.
Last but not least . . . that amiable couple, Chris and wife Soo Ching . . . it was very noticeable that they fit well into the table 30 group. Carried themselves well. [However not very much info was able to be extracted from them then as the function was busily gaining momentum when they arrived. Some better coverage of them the next time perhaps.]
In conclusion . . . I would like to say 'terima kasih banyak -banyak' to Dato Ramli & Datin Biby Nazli for inviting us to this memorable function.
I consider this function memorable as it provided me the opportunity to meet up with interesting new friends.
Insya-Allah (God Willing) . . . we should be able to make time to catch up with one another . . . at some other instances.
Appreciate meeting all of you. You guys were simply great!
And . . . to the newly-wed . . . may your life ahead be full of bliss and may both of you be blessed with a happy and prosperous marriage.
All's well that ends well.
