Case of d Football Coach
High Altitude Football Training :
anyone for some fun?
Heard of games held at 'high' altitude pitches / grounds above sea level . . . or whatever terms you want to come up with!
Something like that kind of training most of the world football (soccer) men teams went through . . . just before the Mexico World Cup Finals of 1986.
Or . . . anything like this?
Anyone for this?
A short stint at one playing field in Cameron Highlands . . . a site reasonably suitable for 'high' altitude football (soccer) training!
Amad (Aii) . . .
d lone player who responded to the call-up
Only one budding star (Aii) turned up for training. Another two (Amb) and (Uim) were busy on tour at some other venues.
Those two were fulfilling their respective schedules . . . like meeting up with fans, and doing other promotional chores.
The coach (a seasoned campaigner) was however not the least disheartened. Disturbed? Never!
After all he is a pro . . . and a pro must behave very professionally. Act like one . . he, he!
That famous " I'm not disturbed " stances
Let's see what we can do . . . even if it's only with the presence of one solitary soul of a player . . .
Come on now . . .
Here we go . . .
d positioning . . .
d short pass . . .
d spot kick . . .
d one two . . .
d header . . .
d first touch . . .
d volley . . .
d dribble . . .
d grounder . . .
d stop & shoot . . .
d 50-50 ball . . .
d run-up . . .
d body swerve . . .
d turning . . .
d dummy . . .
everything went fine until . . . other footballing skills (tricks?) came into play . . .
d jig ?
d head roll ??
d "hands of God" ???
d walkout ???? . . .
yeah, the coach's done!
Well readers . . . it was fun while it lasted. The training was fantastic.
The player was awesome . . . the interest superb . . . the coach?
He simply went out of steam . . . and . . . call it a day!
To cap that beautifully scheduled training session . . . he resigned with immediate effect!
He is going back to his domain . . . chappati making . . . ha, ha, hmm.
Monday blues . . . aaa-rrr-ggg-hhh!

[Just stick to what you can do best!]
. . . . and so . . .
Anyone For Chapatti Now?
(an illustrated manifestation)
That time . . . when I successfully tried my hands at chapatti making . . . Target achieved. Mission accomplished.
Sir, we need an able-bodied person here. There's one too many orders still awaiting to be met. Are you game enough to lend us a helping hand?
Now . . . let me think . . .
Must I show them my skill?
These guys will appear novices in comparison to you know who lah!
Well fellas . . . here goes.
You guys are just rousing d passion of d chapatti master .
You asked for it . . . You ain't seen nothing yet . . .
Hey presto
3 cheers for d chapatti master . . .
[ hip hip hooray . . . I'm done, I'm done, I'm done!]
Phew . . . at long last . . . enjoying d fruit of my labour
[hmm ada orang tumpang lak . . . hehe]
and d outcome . . . finale?
Street Demo?
[Bukan . .
Mereka pencinta tegar chapati bukan perusuh jalanan. Mereka mahu menikmati keenakan chapati hasil tangan tukang chapati yang hebat . . . (dengan kualiti terbaik dan dalam kuantiti secukupnya) . . . selagi mereka berpeluang berbuat demikian . . . ]

Ataupun . . . boleh juga jadi penggoreng mi. Tentu lumayan pendapatan dan dapat banyak kawan.
Suka hatilah. Tapi fikir-fikirkan dengan teliti dulu. Mampu ke kerja begitu? Apa pula kesannya?
persoalannya
. . . biar aku try plak . . . best gak!
Acah aje. Kisah rekaan suka-suka. Kiasan dan kesan tetap ada di mana-mana . . .
