-THIS PIECE OF WORK IS DEDICATED TO MY “ATOK & OPAH”-
When I look into the mirror I see my father’s face
He sings a song for Him all day long
I hear the river flow, I remember who I am
My mother’s eyes are with me when the sun goes down
I had dream of them holding hands together under the heat of the Sun
Oh my Lord, in the name of Allah, Most gracious, Most merciful
He who gives life to the dead, and it is He who has power over all things
Please let them have a taste of your Heavens
Ya Rabbi Bil Mustafa
May you give them your strength
To perform Tawaaf and to do a circle of success
To walk between Safa and Marwah
To stay in Arafah and then leave to Mudzalifah
To be in Mina to throw seven pebbles
When they are in Mecca Al-Mukarramah
The journey has just begun
For your humble guests
To the Holy Land
With full of hope and with courage
In a quest for your forgiveness
Praise to you, who created heavens and the earth
And made the darkness and the light
When he decrees a thing, He says to it only “Be!” and it is.”
Please answer all their prayers
As long as they acknowledge and admit
“There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah”.
